CPR Certification

Emergencies can occur and in the case of one, CDL has over 100 employees equipped in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Performing CPR on an endangered individual can be crucial to surviving cardiac arrest.

A 2014 study found that nearly 45 percent of cardiac arrest victims who were administered CPR outside of a hospital setting were saved.

In the high voltage division, all linemen are required to learn CPR.

Having learned this valuable skill, linemen are prepared in case of an emergency.

The lessons are conducted every other month — the most recent CPR lesson was July 5 and the next will be September 9.
